Title: CEDC - Senior .NET Technical Lead (739886 and 734330) Location: Dauphin County, PA- remote Duration: long term Contract The CEDC is seeking an experienced Senior .NET Technical Lead to enhance, maintain, and support CEDC applications. *Remote position* All CEDC positions will have a 37.5-hour work week. Overtime is not permitted without prior permission from the Delivery Center CIO. Position is fully remote, but the selected candidate or their vendor is required to report onsite at the start and the end of the contract to inventory and confirm the condition of Commonwealth issued equipment. CEDC will not send or accept equipment through the mail. This resource should have a strong Microsoft .NET development background with extensive experience using Visual Studio 2022, C#, ASP.NET , .Net 6 or higher, Blazor and Microsoft SQL server experience required. The position requires the ability to design and build new web-based applications that adhere to the Conservation and Environment Delivery Center coding standards. Must have: 10 + years of hands-on software development experience. 5+ years of experience in leading teams at a technical level. Hands-on .NET Core+ experience. 4+ years experience in doing so is preferred. Hands on experience with Blazor and its related technologies. At least a year experience in building frontend using Blazor is preferred. Hands-on experience in building and consuming Web APIs. 5+ years experience in doing so is preferred. Good understanding of API documentation. Good understanding of OAuth. Hands-on experience in integrating with 3rd party services, especially payment processing. Deep understanding and experience with Entity Framework and LINQ. Hands-on development and fine-tuning experience with SQL Server. Proven experience in designing better user interfaces. If you can share some UIs that youve built thatd be great. Well versed in jQuery and its ecosystem. Experience in creating SSRS Reports and SSIS packages. Experience in trouble-shooting legacy applications in ASP.NET Web Forms, JavaScript and jQuery. Hands-on experience in leveraging Azure DevOps at a matured level for development activities. Knowledge and experience in creating and maintaining CI/CD Pipelines in Azure DevOps, using PowerShell scripts. Hands-on experience with Git. Clear understanding and experience with unit testing. Experience in directly working and interacting with the business users, gathering business requirements, and converting them to technical specifications. Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal. Excellent technical documentation skills, leveraging Visio. Nice to have: Experience with .NET 6 or higher. Azure Cloud experience. Well-versed with Razor pages and CSHTML. Familiarity with any of the modern CSS frameworks. Good understanding of Dependency Injection and how it works. Experience and understanding of AutoMapper or an alternative tool. Good understanding and exposure to PowerShell scripting. Some basic understanding of GIS and the core concepts involving location.
