Please let me know your interest CICS Systems Programming Remote Duration : Contract Job Description: 1. To lead, design and development solutions to highly complex application problems, system administration tools and network monitors. 2. Provide systems management, Migration and conversion support. 3. Works closely with external vendors on large or small infrastructure engineering projects 4. Works closely with Application Development, Quality Assurance and Testing teams to understand infrastructure needs during the development and testing processes. 5. Oncall support for CICS 24 x 7 Must be a self-starter with Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills (excellent written/oral command of English); able to work effectively as a member of a team Mandatory 1. Must be adaptable to changing circumstances, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work well in a team-oriented environment. 2. Develop, design, maintain, test, document and deploy CICS systems-level and application software features and changes 3. Administer a large CICS Production and Test environment utilizing CPSM (Sysplex mainframe environment) 4. Administer 3rd-party systems software, including CICS system utilities, along with application software development libraries (COBOL, JCL, PROCs, PARMs, copybooks). Assembler is a plus but not required. 5. Performance and Tuning in a large Z/OS Environment. Including Dump skills for Trouble shooting 6. Create new or modify existing CICS regions in support of new applications or CICS architecture re-engineering initiatives 7.
