Kafka Developer

Location ::
Raleigh,NC/Charlotte,NC/Dallas,TX/Chandler,AZ(Onsite)

Type :: Contract

Rate :: $55/hr on C2C

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Java applications.

Implement and optimize Kafka producers and consumers.

Integrate Kafka with existing and new systems.

Participate in system design and architecture discussions.

Monitor and optimize application performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship.

Diagnose and resolve technical issues.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Proficiency in Java (JDK 8+).

Experience with Apache Kafka, Kafka Streams, and Kafka Connect.

Familiarity with data serialization formats (Avro, JSON, Protobuf).

Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC).

Knowledge of relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB).

Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices.

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Proficient with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
