Position: Budget Business Analyst Job/Location: Hybrid in Sacramento, California Duration of Assignment: 12 months Description We are seeking a Budget Business Analyst experienced with tracking Project Budgets, expenditures, line-item balances, detailed Project allocation and expenditure tracking, and reports for a long-term hybrid project with our Sacramento, California-based client. This role allows remote work, but you must be able to commute to Sacramento when required. Activities and Tasks Performed: Work with Project leadership to track Project Budget, expenditures, and line item balances Work with the Project team to detail Project allocation and expenditure tracking and reports Analyze monthly and average budget usage rates to report anomalies Develop a portfolio of budget reporting for various project governance reporting or meetings Continuously reconcile planned budget amounts to actual expenditure amounts Develop expenditure trend analysis and advise project management of trend impacts Deliverables Produced: Summary and detailed project budget status reports Current and projected project budget and line item tracking Project budget utilization summary, detail, and per contract Monthly reconciliation between planned and actual project expenditures Ad hoc and monthly budget status reports Requirements: *BA (Master's degree or doctorate preferred) in a relevant technical specialty, such as computer science, management information systems, computer engineering, or software engineering from an accredited university. *Five (5) years of experience (7 years preferred) tracking Project Budget, expenditures, line item balances, detailed Project allocation, and expenditure tracking and reports. *At least three (3) years' experience (5 years preferred) analyzing monthly and average budget usage rates to report anomalies: * Two (2) years' experience (within the last five (5) years) as a business analyst with Business process analysis or re-engineering (e.g., supporting conversion and transition to a new application) Keywords: business analyst access management active directory information technology Budget Business Analyst || Hybrid in Sacramento, CA [email protected] http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=1478462&uid= |
