[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - Position Title: IBM Wazi Services Analyst Location: Remote About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and motivated IBM Wazi Services Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring customer environments, deploying mainframe applications on IBM Cloud, and performing DevOps assessments. You will play a critical role in helping our customers modernize their mainframe applications and streamline their operations using IBM Wazi. Key Responsibilities: Setup Wazi Image Builder and Configure Customer Environment: Utilize IBM Wazi Image Builder to create and configure environments tailored to customer specifications. Ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of customer environments. Provide technical guidance and support throughout the setup process. Deploy Customer Mainframe Applications on Wazi as a Service Instance on IBM Cloud: Implement and deploy customer mainframe applications using Wazi as a Service on the IBM Cloud platform. Collaborate with customers to understand application requirements and ensure successful deployment. Monitor and troubleshoot deployment issues to ensure a smooth operational environment. Perform DevOps Assessment and Provide Roadmap: Conduct comprehensive DevOps assessments to evaluate current practices and identify areas for improvement. Develop and deliver detailed roadmaps for DevOps transformation tailored to customer needs. Provide actionable recommendations to enhance efficiency, agility, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Equivalent experience will be considered. Experience: Proven experience with IBM Wazi Image Builder and Wazi as a Service on IBM Cloud. Strong background in mainframe application deployment and management. Solid understanding of DevOps principles and practices. Experience conducting DevOps assessments and developing roadmaps for improvement. Technical Skills: Proficiency in mainframe technologies and IBM Cloud services. Familiarity with DevOps tools and methodologies, including CI/CD pipelines. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Excellent scripting and automation skills. Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in IBM Wazi and/or IBM Cloud technologies. Experience with agile methodologies and practices.
