Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to implement solutions and resolve issues within acceptable levels of cost, stability, risk, and reliability. Review and modify code to ensure adherence to standards and specifications. Assist with managing source code, continuous integration, and deployment plans. Monitor, propose, and participate in executing updates for current technologies based on discovered vulnerabilities and value to projects. Maintain documentation on database systems, architectures, and builds. Support Project Management activities related to IT and general company objectives. Adhere to departmental policies and procedures. Required Tools/Technologies/Environments SQL (PostgreSQL/T-SQL) Linux and Windows OS AWS /Azure/ Any Cloud Database services environments Integrated Development Environments (IntelliJ IDEA/PgAdmin/SQL Server Management Studio) Source versioning system (GIT/Subversion) Trouble ticket reporting system (JIRA/IssueTrak or similar) Job Specification and Skills At least 2-3 years working in AWS environments Ability to follow through with assigned projects independently Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design Bachelors degree in computer science along with relevant experience 7+ years of experience in database programming with emphasis in: o SQL, PL/SQL as well as scripting languages o MS SQL Server o Postgres Experience in reporting, analytics, and data visualization tools Experience with GIT or Subversion Strong organization, communication, and leadership skills Self-motivated and adaptable Excellent verbal, written, and customer service skills Ability to prioritize work well Ability to follow through with assigned tasks independently Self-directed awareness of the latest technological trends in IT services and deliveries Detail oriented and possess a passion for quality Experience with organizational change management Keywords: business intelligence information technology microsoft procedural language Nevada Database BI Developer :: Onsite in NV :: NO H1B -Local Prefered [email protected] |
