As part of their core platform of C++ engineers, you will focus on developing and optimizing browser technologies within embedded devices. This role is ideal for someone passionate about browsers and interested in contributing to the next generation of smart TV experiences. Key Responsibilities: Develop, optimize, and maintain browser functionalities within smart TV set-top boxes. Work with various browsers (including Web Kit, Chrome, Safari, and others) to ensure seamless integration and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and troubleshoot browser-based applications such as Prime, Disney+, Hulu, and Apple TV. Adapt and extend browser technologies to suit the needs of embedded devices. Contribute to the Xumo TV project, enhancing the overall user experience of the smart TV platform. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code primarily in C++. Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration processes . Required Qualifications: Proven experience working with browser technologies (e.g., Web Kit, Chrome, Safari). Strong proficiency in C++ development. Experience with embedded devices or desktop browsers. Experience working with firmware in embedded systems. Familiarity with smart TV platforms and set-top box services. Knowledge of modern development frameworks and tools. Understanding of networking and security aspects related to browser development.
