Looking On-site || Peoplesoft FSCM || PLEASANTON, CA (Onsite) Role name: Enterprise Architect Role Description: Minimum 8+ years of PeopleSoft functional/technical experience with FSCM modules, including setup tables, business processes, and reporting. Experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 and PUM images. Ability to effectively manage project from inception to closure. Strong knowledge of PL/SQL or PeopleSoft Query Developer. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. extensive experience in one or more of the following Functional areas: Asset Management, Billing, Commitment Control, General Ledger, Lease Administration, Payables, Purchasing, Query Manager, Receivables, Report, Supplies, and Travel and Expense Required Duties and Responsibilities: Troubleshoot systems issues and recommend solutions. Recreate system issues in a test environment to evaluate solutions. Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical staff. Using knowledge of accounting and financial business practices: Recommend correcting entries or transaction reversals to resolve the issue. Recommend changes in business processes to mitigate the risk of the issue reoccurring. Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with accounting and financial staff to determine the scope of the issue and identify the root cause. Perform all tasks required to close a module for fiscal year-end. Perform all configuration tasks to open a module for the new fiscal year. Run SQLs to validate data and review journal entries. Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with accounting and financial staff to ensure all entries are completed prior to module closing. Recommend correcting entries or transaction reversals to resolve any issues. Recommend business process changes to improve efficiency. Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical staff. Manage the implementation and testing of new functionality. Configure and test a specific module during the PUM update. Identify and recommend system functionality to streamline business processes or eliminate system modifications. Draft system documentation and user manuals. Create presentations to demo new functionality to end users and process owners. Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical staff.
