Technical Infrastructure Project Manager with Experience in GxP, Pharma/Life Science

Job Location:- Remote with 25% travel

Long Term

The project supports the build of multiple manufacturing lines.

The PM should be located Mid or East Coast US (East Coast preferred) and will likely be asked to travel to the site off and on as required by the business (25% travel likely).

The PM should have a more technical Infrastructure PM background with a good understanding of GxP/GPM builds.

The Project Manager (PM) oversees medium to large projects, or in some cases multiple small to medium projects, typically at the Division level.

Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope.

Oversee all aspects of projects. Set dlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project.

Prepare and present reports for senior management and steering committees regarding the status and health of the project(s).

The successful candidate will work directly with Division-level, and in some cases Group level management to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.

He or she will coordinate with other departments (e.g. Shared Services functions) to ensure all aspects of each project are aligned to the appropriate functional strategy.

8+ years of experience in Information Technology in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry, or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures such as GxP and Systems Validation.

Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Perform a variety of tasks.

L and direct the work of others.

A wide degree of creativity and self-starting mindset is expected. Reports directly to either an IT Program Manager, or the IT Pharma Director depending on size and complexity of the project(s) being managed.

The PM augments project work to enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add and strengthen the value delivered by the IT Pharma 4.0 Program.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects

Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

Facilitate the definition of scope/objectives involving relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

Ensure resource availability, allocation; develop a detailed project plan, and monitor progress

Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification and governance techniques

Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques

Report and escalate to management as needed

Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders

Perform risk management to minimize project risks

Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Where applicable, meet with customers to understand specific requirements of each project

Delegate project tasks based on team members strengths, skill sets and experience levels

Track project performance to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals

Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis

Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members

Use and continually develop lership skills Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency

Perform other related duties as assigned

Develop sprsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs

Mandatory Skillsets

Bachelors Degree in computer science or relevant field

8+ years work experience in healthcare (e.g. Biotech, Pharma, Medical Equipment, etc.)

Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or AGILE/SCRUM certification is a plus

Proven working experience in project management

Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Project Manager top skills & proficiencies:
