We have an exciting job opportunity with one of our clients, below are the details of the position: Role: SCADA Aveva Engineer Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid 3 days onsite in a Week) Mode of hiring : Contract Experience: 10+ Years Must have: Fluent in all aspects of SCADA System Operation including: AVEVA Enterprise SCADA (formerly OASyS DNA) baseline platform HMI display development Realtime Database implementation Historical Database data interfaces and reporting Gas Measurement Metering Troubleshoot SCADA software and server issues In-depth Knowledge of RTU/PLC protocol (Modbus, DNP3, BSAP) Work closely with Field Technicians to configure, test, and troubleshoot data polling from the SCADA System to field RTUs. Comfortable with Hybrid work Nice to haves: Knowledge of related field operations Process Documentation Development for changes, obtaining required approvals, and submitting changes Close Coordination with Gas Control operators to ensure the SCADA system is always providing them the ability to safely operate the pipeline. Programming of wireless modems (Sierra Wireless and Digi etc) Build, configure, develop and maintain reports Ability to write scripts and SQL queries Participate in the complete SCADA system upgrade project including implementation, testing, and go-live and post implementation support Ability to work independently and exercise good judgement in a small team environment.
