Seeking atalented software engineer with excellent Python programming skills to work onautomating test cases with the Robot Framework. In this unique opportunity, the engineer will work with a small team automatingtests that accurately measure functional and non-functional behaviors of thecomponents of the Platform solution to support Continuous Delivery goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming,understanding core design concepts, such as modularization, loosely coupling,and abstraction. Candidates will be required to demonstrate their programming skills duringthe interview process. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Scripts advanced test scenarios usingPython on the Robot Framework;included automating LED color detection and patterns, IP interfaces (IPV4&IPV6), WiFi behaviors, and the behaviors of the services across the totalsolution Oversees implementation and configuration of automated robot testing frameworksand related infrastructures. Defines and tracks qualityassurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status Experience in Test automation of any of the TelecomEquipment Home Gateway, Set Top Box, Cable Modem, Enterprise Wi-Fi AP. Very Good understanding of REST APIs and Linux command Line interface. Goodexperience with UI automation testing with Robot Framework. Experience working withGitLab, CI/CD or other Dev Ops tools. Collects and analyzes data for software process evaluation and improvements andintegrates them into business processes to address the business needs Determines manual test cases that are candidates for automation REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Skills/Abilities and Knowledge * Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees,customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by writtencommunications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner Self-starter, self-motivated,driven individual, Ability to adapt with shifting priorities Experience with robot test automation framework Scripting experience with Python Experience with Raspberry Pi is a plus Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) Proficient using JIRA for work management and reporting Knowledgeable in CICD Experience with swagger API is a plus Basic networkingunderstanding like IPv4,IPv6,DNS, DHCP, Port forwarding.
