Please review the job specifications below and if you find it interesting then please send me on [email protected] ASAP Full Stack Engineers (multiple positions available) Deerfield, IL (onsite) 6+ Months Contract FINANCE DOMAIN ONLY 12+ Years experience Min Responsibilities: Build and release reliable software systems at scale, focusing on digital payment solutions. Design elegant solutions and strategize the future state of the larger technical ecosystem. Independently innovate and advocate for best practices to solve complex problems. Guide the team on implementing solutions from inception to production through hands-on examples. Ensure scalability and performance of software systems, handling low-latency and high-throughput scenarios. Utilize reactive programming concepts and frameworks, such as Vert.x. Differentiate and work with various data formats including JSON, XML, TOML, CSON, and YAML. Manage databases, understanding the strengths and use cases for PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB. Collaborate with the team to share technical knowledge and best practices. Requirements: Proven experience working on digital payment systems for major companies like Amex, Visa, Capital One, etc. Strong proficiency in core Java fundamentals, data structures, thread safety, JVM and garbage collection mechanisms, Java versions (e.g., 1.8 vs. 20), serialization/deserialization, connection pooling, and thread pooling concepts. Deep understanding of low-latency and high-throughput scenarios, design patterns, and distributed transaction processing. Knowledge of reactive programming concepts and the Vert.x framework. Ability to differentiate between JSON, XML, TOML, CSON, and YAML formats. Understanding of the strengths and use cases for PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB databases. Highly Desired Skills: Experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), including debugging, knowledge of APM tools, understanding of service mesh within Kubernetes, and experience with Grafana dashboards. Solid understanding of networking protocols like TCP/IP and the differences between TCP and UDP. Engagement with relevant technical blogs and sharing technical knowledge. Familiarity with cloud concepts, including horizontal/vertical scaling, parallel processing, and hybrid cloud functionalities. Knowledge of programming language choice for specific project needs, such as when to utilize Scala or Python. Additional Information: Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes is a plus. Experience with SRE/Alert Monitoring tools is particularly desired.
