Single round of Interview Location : Baltimore, Maryland Duration :Long term / Hybrid Wok Rate : $50 C2C Fixed Job description : 8-10 years of Programming experience in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS. FILEAID, SPUFI, Change man or Endevor Position Description (day to day responsibilities): Senior Computer programmers has the following duties: Provide technical support in the areas of enterprise applications. Troubleshoot tickets escalated from the helpdesk regarding issues. Participate in regular team planning meeting to receive tasking and provide status. Participate in monthly status meetings to include providing a monthly status. Work independent on key technical assignments Education: A bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline or three (3) years of equivalent experience in a related field. A masters degree is preferred. General Experience: Must have eight (8) years of programming experience in software development or maintenance. Specialized Experience: At least five (5) years of experience in IT systems analysis and programming. Desirable Skills: REXX, Other mainframe Utilities and Production Support experience. Knowledge in Financial and Taxation domain.
