From: Prabhat, VYZEINC [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - Title - Senior Storage Infrastructure Administrator Location - Austin, TX; Sunnyvale, CA; Elk Grove, CA or Maiden, NC ( Hybird 3 days onsite ) This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Enterprise Block and File Storage infrastructure. They will also be responsible for incident management as it relates to the SAN/NAS Storage infrastructure and performing advanced troubleshooting of complex system issues, working with various Storage vendors in timely and efficient manner to prevent business impacts. Strong Experience with administration of various SAN and NAS storage architectures such as Hitachi Data Systems, Pure Storage, Brocade and Cisco SAN switches, and Dell/Isilon. Experience with replication technologies to ensure our business continuity is stable. Our storage supports a variety of applications including Oracle Databases, SAP Oracle, SAP Hanna, and a variety of other use-cases. Understanding these technologies is critical to the support of these storage systems. Able to effectively navigate various Operating Systems such as Linux RedHat/OEL, IBM AIX, Windows. Experience with LAN/WAN networking schemes such as DNS, ACLs, TCP/IP and OSI models Experience with DevOps scripting languages such as Python. Experience with Ticketing system tool such as ServiceDesk. Competencies in Major Incident Management. Knowledge of using system monitoring/alerting tools. Understanding of large scale enterprise IT infrastructures and corresponding dependencies. Able to proficiently coordinate and troubleshoot with internal and external partners within a large scale enterprise. Experience evaluating & managing outages to business critical infrastructure.
