Description: IBM i Application Security Engineer 10+ years in design/development experience IBM i Power Systems platform with a focus on security of system, database as well as internal and external applications PowerTech experience preferred Extensive disaster recovery test/configuration experience Minimum OS level experience IBM I 7.3 Department Description (work environment): This position will serve as an engineer in IBM i infrastructure, database, operating systems, IBM SAN based technologies and apply knowledge to the enterprise. This role will collaborate with architects, developers, and engineers to develop overall solutions, including options analysis and trade-offs that properly balance both IT and business constraints. The Systems Engineer will serve as a thought leader to guide people, processes, and technology. Daily Responsibilities: Represent broad expertise in domain team in technical design and estimating sessions with internal and external IT customers Analyze and recommend changes to improve efficiency, lower costs, and enhance quality of business applications Establish processes for security and DR processes. Other duties as assigned Candidate Profile: Qualifications (years of experience in field)/ Resume must haves: 5+ years of senior level experience with IBM i, iSeries, or AS/400 Experience working in healthcare, PBM, specialty pharmacy, or health care consulting in a related capacity.
