Job Role: IT Infrastructure Manager Location: Long Beach, CA (Hybrid Onsite) Locals are highly preferred Pay Rate: $60-$65/hr. on C2C Acceptable Work Authorization: US Citizen & Green Card Holder JOB DESCRIPTION The client is currently seeking a seasoned IT Infrastructure Manager to oversee the infrastructure team of one of our clients (a long term client in the aerospace industry), located in Long Beach, CA. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in the IT field, with a focus on infrastructure technology for at least 5 years. Additionally, the candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role or have demonstrated the ability to lead a team effectively. Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the IT infrastructure team to ensure the smooth operation of all infrastructure systems. - Develop and implement strategic plans for the organization's IT infrastructure. - Provide technical expertise and guidance on infrastructure technologies, including Kubernetes, VMware, Linux, Windows, Configuration Management, Automation, and Infrastructure as Code. - Manage server and storage hardware, backups, High Availability/Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity (HA\\DR\\BC), Active Directory, Group Policy, Certificate Management (PKI), DNS, and DHCP. - Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure systems. - Monitor and analyze system performance, identify and resolve issues, and implement improvements as needed. - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in IT infrastructure to ensure the organization remains competitive. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - 8+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in an infrastructure-focused technology role. - 3+ years of experience in a leadership role or demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively. - In-depth knowledge of one or more of the following technologies: Kubernetes, VMware, Linux, Windows, Configuration Management, Automation, and Infrastructure as Code. - Strong understanding of server and storage hardware, backups, HA\\DR\\BC, Active Directory, Group Policy, Certificate Management (PKI), DNS, and DHCP. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
