Job Responsibilities: Work with senior management, technical and client teams in order to determine data requirements, business data implementation approaches, best practices for advanced data manipulation, storage and analysis strategies Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions Design, implement, automate and maintain large scale enterprise data ETL processes Modify existing databases and database management systems and/or direct programmers and analysts to make changes Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications Skills: Experience with database technologies Knowledge of the ETL process Knowledge of at least one scripting language Strong written and oral communication skills Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills Demonstrated history of success Desire to be working with data and helping businesses make better data driven decisions Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required 8-10 years applicable experience required Job Requirements Years of Experience Required: 8-10 overall years of experience in the field. Degrees or certifications required: Computer science or Statistics degree preferably is required to be eligible for this role. Disqualifiers: Candidates with job hopping will not be eligible for the role. Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain data science C type job, someone able to provide business insight from complex data set Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on meeting deadlines and accuracy/error rates. Typical Day in the Role Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is growing new automation and AI products, finding opportunities for additional customer adoption or revenue growth. Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 50% data analysis, 25% meetings, 25% reporting.
