Role: Mainframe Developer Location: Malvern, PA (Hybrid- Day 1 onsite & willing to work onsite 3 days a week) Payrate: $55/hr on C2C or C2H Visa: No h1B Responsibilities Discovery, Application impact analysis and documentation Responsibilities: Conduct discovery sessions to understand existing mainframe applications and systems. Perform application impact analysis and document findings accurately. Develop and maintain SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation. Design, code, test, debug, and document COBOL programs to meet business requirements. Manage and optimize DB2 databases, including schema design and performance tuning. Utilize JCL for job scheduling and execution within the mainframe environment. Work with VSAM files for efficient data storage and retrieval. Leverage IDAA (IBM Db2 Analytics Accelerator) for accelerated query performance and analytics. QUALIFICATIONS: Proven experience as a Mainframe Developer with expertise in SQL, COBOL, DB2, JCL, VSAM, and IDAA. Strong understanding of mainframe systems and architectures. Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
