Job Title : Office 365 Migration Engineer Location: Brooklyn, NY (ONSITE) (LOCAL only) Duration: 12+ Months Contract JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities: Plan, design, and implement hybrid cloud environments combining on-premises infrastructure with Microsoft 365 and Azure services. Configure and manage Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS), Azure AD Connect, and other synchronization tools to enable seamless identity and access management. Develop and implement policies for hybrid identity management and security. Assess and analyze existing IT infrastructure to develop comprehensive migration plans. Execute migration strategies for email, data, applications, and services from on-premises to cloud or hybrid environments. Perform data migration activities including mailbox migrations, SharePoint migrations, and file share migrations. Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Teams. Monitor and maintain hybrid cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hybrid environments and migrations. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for hybrid environment configurations, migration processes, and support procedures. Provide training and support to IT staff and end-users on new systems and processes. Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years of experience in implementing and managing Office 365 solutions. Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert) are highly desirable. Proven experience with hybrid cloud environments, specifically integrating on-premises infrastructure with Microsoft 365 and Azure. Must be able to architect and lead the whole migration project. Strong knowledge of Active Directory, AD FS, Azure AD, and identity management solutions. Experience with migration tools and techniques for Microsoft environments, including but not limited to Exchange Hybrid Configuration, SharePoint Migration Tool, and third-party migration solutions. Proficiency in Power scripting and automation. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
