Sr. Technical Specialist - zOS Automations Programming

REMOTE

Duration : Contract

1.        To lead, design and develop solutions to highly complex application problems, system administration tools and network monitors.

2.        Provide systems management, migration, and conversion support.

Mandatory:

1.        Must be a self-starter with effective oral and written communication skills, an experienced problem solver who seeks assistance when necessary.

2.        Must be adaptable to changing circumstances, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work well in a team-oriented environment.

3.        Must be able to take direction.

4.        Prior OPS REXX programming experience is required. Knowledge of TSO REXX, SQL, ISPF, JCL and General Workbench Utilities preferable.

5.        Knowledge of OPSMVS, and Automation Point products highly preferable.

6.        Knowledge of zVM and zLinux is preferable, as is knowledge of the CA-VMOperator

Preferred:

Experience in BNYM environments.

On shift 8 am 5 pm ET

Off shift can be any other hours
