Position : ScienceLogic Deployment Engineer Location: Remote Type of hire: Contract SUMMARY: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Monitoring Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ScienceLogic deployment and will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of monitoring solutions to ensure the optimal performance and availability of our IT infrastructure. RESPONSIBILITES: Design, implement, and manage ScienceLogic SL1 platform for monitoring and managing IT infrastructure. Configure monitoring solutions to provide comprehensive visibility into system performance and availability. Develop and maintain custom monitors, dashboards, and reports using ScienceLogic tools. Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying and addressing potential issues before they impact service availability. Implement and manage monitoring solutions for servers, networks, applications, and databases. Respond to monitoring alerts and incidents, performing initial troubleshooting and escalating, as necessary. Work with IT and application teams to resolve performance issues and optimize systems. Develop and implement automation scripts to enhance monitoring capabilities and improve operational efficiency. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT monitoring and management. Proven experience with ScienceLogic platform deployment and management. Proficiency in ScienceLogic platform, including deployment, configuration, and customization. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, storage, and applications. Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Shell.
