The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in these platforms, coupled with strong strategic vision to align technology solutions with business objectives. Key Responsibilities: M365 Strategy Development: Develop and communicate a comprehensive M365 architecture strategy. Solution Design and Implementation: Design end-to-end solutions for M365 services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security across all platforms. Make recommendations for test environments, configuration as code, CI/CD pipleines, test automation and other techniques to maintain a reliable environment. Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross[1]functional teams, including architects, engineers, project management and administrators. Governance and Compliance: Establish governance frameworks and compliance standards for M365 services, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with M365 deployments, proactively addressing potential issues to minimize impact on operations. Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., HIPAA, FERPA) and internal security policies through effective M365 configuration. Training and Knowledge Sharing: Develop training programs and materials for IT staff and end-users on M365 platforms, promoting adoption and effective utilization of features and capabilities. Required Skills and Qualifications: Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 suite, specifically in Purview, Exchange, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Entra and Intune. Architecture and Design: Proven track record in designing and implementing complex M365 solutions, including integration with existing IT infrastructure. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of troubleshooting complex issues and recommending innovative solutions. Experience with PowerPlatform and Desired State Configuration a plus Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Masters degree preferred. Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT architecture, with at least 5 years focused on designing and implementing Microsoft 365 solutions.
