Job Title: Lead Salesforce Developer Location: Hybrid at Los Angeles / Greater Los Angeles Area (NEED LOCALS ONLY) Department: Software Engineering - Salesforce Reports To: Director of Software Engineering - Salesforce Acceptable Work Authorization: USC & GC Only Payment term are on NET 70 for this role Sr. Developer looking to becoming a Systems Architect / Technical Architect- great growth opportunity 2 days on site per week Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Salesforce Developer with a strong aspiration to transition into a Systems Architect and/or Technical Architect role. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, and Visualforce. Additionally, the candidate must possess expertise in data migration, data transformation, and data integration with middleware tools such as Mulesoft, Dell Boomi, and Informatica. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, and Visualforce. Collaborate with the Salesforce lead to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions. Lead and mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices. Perform data migration and transformation activities, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Integrate Salesforce with other systems and platforms using middleware tools like Mulesoft, Dell Boomi, and Informatica. Conduct code reviews, optimize performance, and troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless functionality. Stay current with Salesforce updates and new features, recommending and implementing enhancements as appropriate. Assist in developing technical architecture documentation, roadmaps, and guidelines to support the organizations Salesforce strategy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with business goals. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, development, deployment, and maintenance. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, driving innovation and efficiency within the Salesforce environment. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer. Salesforce certifications: Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II Salesforce Certified Integration Architecture Designer Extensive experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, and Visualforce. Proven expertise in data migration and data transformation. Proven expertise in data integration using middleware tools such as Mulesoft, Dell Boomi, and/or Informatica. Experience with Change Sets and 3rd-party deployment tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset, Flosum). Knowledge of agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence). Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, best practices, and development methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. S trong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership abilities and a passion for mentoring and developing junior team members. Aspiration and commitment to advancing towards a Salesforce Systems Architect or Salesforce Technical Architect role. Preferred Skills (not Required) 7 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer. Experience with Salesforce DX, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git). Familiarity with other programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
