Position: IT Project manager Location: 100% Remote || CST OR EST time Zone preferred Duration: 6+ months Job Description: The role is within an IT PMO that ensures that Technology (Software Development and IT Infrastructure) projects follow a process which will ensure that the final product delivered meets the business objectives. Max 13 years of exp. and 4 years of PM exp. QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor's Degree 4-7 yrs of experience in Project Management of technology related projects ( custom SDLC web application projects, IT infrastructure projects, business related etc ) Experience working within an IT PMO Methodology -Hybrid, Iterative, Change adaptive; rapid/continuous delivery; SDLC. Project Life Cycle Were looking for someone who has been involved in all stages of a project. Includes engaging project teams and vendors in project initiation, planning activities (managing contracts, resource onboarding), managing project schedules, dependencies, risks and issues, and project closure activities. Vendor Management - Resource Management ( Work hours / Time Management) Artifacts - Understanding of project charters, project plans, project forecasts, project schedules, work hours, SOWs Tools - Competency in Microsoft applications including MS Project, MS project Server, Word, Sharepoint, Excel, Power BI Metrics - Understanding of metrics / KPIs to show the health of the overall program/ project Project Financials - Helping create PMO projects financials report (Actuals, Spend type, Period based reports) What will set you apart - Strong experience in the following- End to end IT/Technical Project Management Managing / Tracking Project Financials( budget) and Reporting Understanding/ Approving SOWs. Creating Project Charters Vendor Management Hybrid/ Iterative Methodology Software Development Projects ( Custom / in house Development).
