Job: Sr. Technical Security Architect with CISSP Location: Houston TX 100% Onsite Duration: Long Term Contract 10+ Years and passport Number is must for Submission. Job Description : The ideal candidate for a security architect position should possess the following qualifications: A bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Extensive knowledge of security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and encryption. Strong understanding of security protocols and standards, such as SSL/TLS, SAML, and OAuth. Experience with security risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and threat modeling Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards, such as TSA Pipeline refs, GDPR, NIST 800-53/CSF, HIPAA, and ISO 27001. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or SANS GIAC, are highly desirable.
