Please attach local DL/ID from MN, WI, ND, SD, IA only SDET Location - Richfield, MN - Hybrid role- Duration - 6 months contract to hire POSITION PURPOSE : Visa - USC/GC/GC-EAD/H4-EAD only Local candidate with local project exp/with a local DL copy Open for non-locals from MN/WI/ND/SD/IA only This position will be working on a Claims Modernization project and will ensure that technology initiatives meet business requirements and will function as defined. The engineer will be responsible for creating technology-based solutions by developing and implementing test automation to deliver quality products. It will mitigate the risk of changes to the current production environment by testing, coordinating, and overseeing testing issue resolution. The person in this position will provide feedback, develop, and maintain testing and quality engineering standards, policies, and procedures. This person will provide guidance, mentoring and consultation to team members and business partners regarding IT Quality Engineering practices. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS : 7+ years' experience in IT and in Quality assurance and Engineering; developing test scripts and scenarios and test management 4+ years' experience in-depth knowledge of Quality Engineering practices and standards 5+ years' experience with programming and scripting languages 2+ years' experience with designing and implementing quality Engineering standards and processes Experience with performing POCs and supporting the tool evaluations and creating best practices and share outs across the team Experience utilizing and integrating testing best practices and methodologies Experience with defect tracking and reporting solutions Experience creating, managing de-identifying data for testing Experience managing project deliverables and coordinating project activities. Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws Ability to work with different set of platforms and technologies, and ability to learn a new toolset/language. Expertise in developing test automation and Continuous Integration (CI) solutions Strong Knowledge about performance testing and tools Proficiency with programming in Object oriented and scripting languages like (Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, VB script, Perl, C++, and Ruby with Selenium/Appium/Calabash etc.) Demonstrated test automation and scripting skills Proficiency in writing queries against databases and data warehouses (Oracle or SQL server,MySQL, Cache and Mongo) Experience with Quality tools such as (JIRA, Client ALM, Zephyr, Rally, Selenium, Cypress, RPA tools, Rational, MTM, TFS/VSTS, SOAPUI, Cucumber, VSTS, JMeter, LoadRunner, UFT/QTP, Test Complete and virtualization technology PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Certification in testing processes and procedures Intersystems, MUMPS, Cache Object Script experienc ACCOUNTABILITIES : Facilitates, manages, and coordinates testing activities for product teams including planning, scheduling, and allocating resources as appropriate for the scope and goals of the product Builds robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation solutions for functional, regression and performance testing Designs, implements, and maintains test automation frameworks to reduce manual tests. Research latest developments in Quality Engineering automation that might benefit HealthPartners Develops high quality test automation scripts following standard automation principles and best practices Ensures and maintains the stability of the testing environment to ensure testing activities are successfully completed. Resolves and coordinates testing issues with IS&T development teams, vendors, and business users. Participates in product team, ensuring the coordination of quality engineering activities in alignment with the project plan. Creates documentation and reports for test results and defect trends; analyzes data makes recommendations to management. Collaborates with Quality Engineers and business partners across the organization to incorporate quality engineering processes within system development and management. Performs other duties as assigned.
