Position: Principal Data Scientist with NLP & AI exp (Hybrid) Location: Grand Rapids, MI (3 days/week onsite) Duration : 12 months Job Description . Must Haves: 8+ Years Experience as a Data Scientist- Can be 6+ years WITH a PHD Masters Degree Experience within retail, logistics, supply chain or CPG with a focus on NLP and AI Strong Python Experience Experience building last-touch and multi-touch attribution models , ideally in the retail or digital advertising sectors Experience with IAB/MRC Ads Data Hub or bit query experience Azure Cloud experience Plus: Databricks Experience Day to day: Our large retail client is looking for a lead data scientist to help with their RMN retail media network project. As a Principal Data Scientist for the Retail Media Network, your crucial contributions will amplify customer engagement and satisfaction, boost digital conversion rates, and enhance operational efficiency through innovative, data-focused strategies for tailoring and assessing campaign performance. The biggest need is to execute the overarching RMN data science strategy to drive in-store and digital merchandising, marketing, customer loyalty, and operational performance. This is a hands on role with mentorship responsibilities. They will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of machine learning algorithms and models for a data science capability within Digital Services, Merchandising, Marketing, Supply Chain and Operations.
