Role :: Angular Full Stack Principal Architect Location :: Johnston, RI Type :: Contract About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Angular Full Stack Principal Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in designing and developing scalable web applications, with a strong emphasis on Angular and full stack development. Additionally, the candidate will have deep expertise in API framework and architecture, particularly in integration projects. Key Responsibilities: Architectural Leadership : Lead the design and architecture of complex web applications using Angular and other relevant technologies. Provide strategic technical direction and ensure adherence to best practices in software development. Full Stack Development : Oversee and contribute to both front-end and back-end development efforts. Ensure seamless integration between the UI and server-side components. API Framework and Architecture : Design and implement robust API frameworks that facilitate smooth integration between various systems. Ensure APIs are secure, scalable, and maintainable. Integration Projects : Lead integration projects, ensuring that different systems and services communicate effectively. Resolve any issues that arise during integration and optimize the performance of integrated systems. Technical Mentorship : Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team. Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Ensure alignment between technical implementation and business objectives. Code Quality and Standards : Establish and enforce coding standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure high-quality code delivery. Advocate for and implement best practices in software development. Performance Optimization : Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the application. Implement performance tuning and optimization techniques to enhance the user experience. Documentation and Reporting : Maintain comprehensive documentation of the architecture, design decisions, and implementation details. Report progress and challenges to senior management regularly. Required Qualifications: Education : Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience : Minimum of 10 years of experience in full stack development. At least 5 years of experience specifically with Angular. Proven experience in leading architectural design and implementation of web applications. Technical Skills : Proficiency in Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3. Strong back-end development experience with Node.js, Express, or similar frameworks. Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and GraphQL. Experience with API management and integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Apigee). Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL). Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
