Monitor storage utilization, allocation and performance. Recommends, schedules, budgets and implements resource modifications upgrades. Research state-of-the-art technology for enhancements to reliability, performance and functionality of the storage environment. Functions as recognized expert on storage administration matters both inside and outside the department. Works in a team environment. Works closely with other Unix system administrators and LAN System administrators members to provide technical advice and resolve problems. Works closely with other IT team members to provide technical advice and resolve problems. Works closely with Support Desk team members to provide technical advice and resolve problems.
