Job Title: Control-M Administrator Location: New York, NY or Alpharetta, GA Responsibilities: Manage, configure, and maintain the Control-M environment across multiple platforms (Unix, Linux, Windows). Design, implement, and support Control-M job scheduling workflows to meet application requirements and SLAs. Monitor Control-M jobs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution of incidents to minimize downtime. Collaborate with application teams and infrastructure teams to onboard new applications into Control-M and optimize existing workflows. Develop and maintain documentation related to Control-M configurations, processes, and procedures. Perform software upgrades, patches, and enhancements for the Control-M environment. Implement best practices for job scheduling and workload automation to improve efficiency and reliability. Provide on-call support and participate in the resolution of high-severity incidents related to Control-M. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Proven experience as a Control-M Administrator or in a similar role with hands-on experience managing Control-M in enterprise environments. Strong understanding of job scheduling concepts, batch processing, and workload automation. Experience with Control-M installation, configuration, and upgrades. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., , Perl, Python) for automation tasks. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Preferred Qualifications: Control-M certification (e.g., BMC Certified Administrator for Control-M). Experience with integrating Control-M with other enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Knowledge of ITIL practices and principles.
