Role : Kubernetes Engineer Location : Hybrid Newport Beach, CA Duration : 6+ month contract Job Description Seeking an experienced Kubernetes Consultant to assess and optimize our existing Kubernetes environments. This role involves evaluating the current setup, consolidating environments, upgrading templates, and training our software engineering team on Kubernetes best practices. Responsibilities: Conduct a thorough assessment of the current Kubernetes environment. Evaluate and ensure the Kubernetes setup is running optimally. Upgrade existing Kubernetes templates and configurations. Provide training and best practices to the Software Engineering team and management on Kubernetes maintenance and operations. Consolidate two existing Kubernetes environments into one efficient setup. Set up, configure, and maintain Kubernetes environments. Troubleshoot and assist with deployment-related issues and incident response on live systems. Identify and remedy operational inefficiencies through automation. Lead the development of solutions to complex operational and reliability challenges. Stay updated with the latest Build/Release tooling technologies and systems for managing software releases into production. Requirements: Minimum of 7 years of Kubernetes experience. Extensive systems configuration management experience with automation. Proven track record of delivering results on time and with high quality. Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong ability to identify and remedy operational inefficiencies through automation. Experience in troubleshooting and assisting with deployment-related issues. Ability to lead the development of solutions to operational and reliability challenges. Up-to-date with the latest technologies and systems for software release management. Previous experience in training and educating teams on Kubernetes best practices.
