Lead the design and implementation of API solutions using Apigee and Azure API Management. Develop and enforce API policies for security, rate limiting, and service orchestration. Work closely with development teams to integrate APIs with existing business applications and services. Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of API solutions. Manage the full lifecycle of APIs, from design to deprecation. Lead and mentor a team of API developers, promoting best practices in coding and API design. Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Monitor API usage, performance, and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in API management and recommend improvements to our API strategy. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a technical lead or senior developer with a focus on Apigee and Azure API Management. Strong understanding of API design principles and best practices. Experience with API security standards and protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT). Proficiency in programming languages relevant to API development (e.g., JavaScript, Python, .NET). Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Skills: Certifications in Apigee and Azure API Management. Experience with other API management tools (e.g., MuleSoft, AWS API Gateway). Knowledge of microservices architectures and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
