Description: Work location: 100% onsite in San Jose, CA (might end up with some remote work flexibility later) Here's what we are looking for in candidates for this job: 8- 10 years relevant technical experience including but not limited to: Operational Support/ Enterprise Services at senior level Design/Architecture Services/Project Delivery Project scoped technical services deployments/major version upgrades/ migrations (Design/Build/Deploy) The client needs High-Level Consultants for ongoing and future project work. This will primarily span Network and Network Security. The right resource will have a consulting mindset. They will be able to successfully enter a client environment, assess it, and move into their role/become productive in minimal time. We have several high priority projects that need resources that can come on board and be productive in short time to either work on the high priority projects or take over some projects that are in progress but need to be envisioned and delivered sooner rather than later. Some of the current technologies/projects required skills would include to: Router/Switches (Cisco), Wireless - Aruba WLC and Aruba AP, Firewalls (Cisco Firepower, Palo Alto), Security, and Cloud Azure/some GCP. (not all of these will exist in the same person necessarily, but will need to be captured with adequate depth across 2-3 resources max). If between these resources there was any VoIP knowledge that would also be beneficial. Prior experience with Epic would also be nice to have/desirable. The Engineer (L4) is responsible for ensuring that high quality professional services are provided to all clients, to ensure that their IT infrastructure and systems remain operational, deliver on new projects and initiatives, serve in an advisement capacity, or take on additional requirements as defined by the clients needs. Job Responsibilities Include: Provides solution support for one or more specialized business systems/applications Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on end-user needs or technical needs, and a thorough understanding of business systems/applications and industry requirements Partners with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies Ensures that solutions are architected and designed in an optimum way to achieve the expected levels of functionality and quality Develops best practices focused on growth, scalability, and efficiency/repeatability Supports business development activities by collaborating and providing the required inputs into opportunities for prospective and existing clients, including estimation and costing Serves as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, including clients, business operations, and IT teams Communicates at all levels of the organization and is a trusted advisor for clients and leadership Provides coaching for others, including support and mentoring of less experienced team members Want to be a part of our team We are currently looking for a Technical Services (TS) Implementation Engineer to support the business in achieving its strategic objectives. What we expect you to do: Current State Assessments on client systems Project Deployment services, but not limited to: Implementations of a variety of Network Infrastructure and Network Security technologies.
