Retail experience is preferred. Professional Certifications: Developer certification in HCL Commerce/WebSphere Commerce is preferred. Programmer certification in Java is preferred. Other knowledge, skills or abilities: Advanced knowledge of HCL Commerce/WebSphere Commerce application development. Advanced knowledge of web application development using enterprise Java technologies and frameworks. Strong familiarity with presentation layer technologies HTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), JavaScript, JavaScript Object Notation, and JQuery is preferred. Strong familiarity with web service technologies including Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), representational state transfer (REST), web service definition language (WSDL), and Axis is preferred. Strong familiarity with the Struts framework is preferred. Advanced knowledge of specific Java technologies including JavaServer Pages (JSP), JavaServer Pages Standard Tag Library (JSTL), Java Database Connectivity (JDBC), Java Architecture for XML Binding (JAXB) is preferred. Strong familiarity writing unit tests with Junit is preferred. Strong familiarity using Subversion (SVN) or GIT for source code management is preferred. Strong expertise on HCL Commerce WCS/WebSphere Commerce v8/v9 and related technologies Strong knowledge of website analytics using Google Analytics is preferred. Strong knowledge of Rational Application Developer is preferred. Ability to work with the DevOps team to understand current CI/CD platform, tooling, and environments involved in application release Experience with Azure/Kubernetes platforms from Application Server/Infra maintenance perspective Experience with Dynatrace or any equivalent platforms for Performance/End user monitoring, identify the performance bottlenecks and similar exercises related to performance tuning Ability to work independently and manage workload prioritization to deliver high quality work products on time and with minimal direction. Strong communication, collaboration, and critical-thinking skills.
