The role involves using statistical programming languages and tools for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization, including end-to-end predictive modeling from exploratory analysis to deployment and results interpretation. Key tasks include managing data through querying, cleaning, merging, quality control, regular reporting, special project deliverables, and documentation. Additionally, the analyst collaborates with IT staff to develop data pipelines, designs and maintains reports and dashboards, and works with program staff to ensure analyses lead to actionable insights for decision-making and program improvement. A strong background in predictive analytics and tool development is essential. Customer experience working directly with a client-centric relational database and managing individuals. Strong technical knowledge and comfortable doing analyses and building reports from an SQL database. The analyst is comfortable with various analytical tools and has taken the lead on projects where the best path forward is unclear. Customer service mindset. Experience Preferred Four (4) years of experience with responsibility for planning, designing, conducting, and evaluating research projects involving the application of techniques of machine learning, predictive analytics, data management, and hypothesis-driven data analysis to complex experimental designs, leading to actionable findings and recommendations. Education Preferred A Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a field of applied research such as Data Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Psychology, or Public Health that includes 12 semester or 18 quarter units of coursework in data science, predictive analytics, quantitative research methods, or statistical analysis.
