Title: Role: Programmer /Salesforce Developer Location: (AT 30 E Broad St, Columbus, OH 43215- one day a week) on-site- only Ohio Candidates please Duration: long term Contract AM Tyler Thurn This position is hybrid and currently requires weekly (one day a week) on-site presence What you will do - Write high-quality code thats simple, usable, testable and ultimately satisfies the customer needs - Collaborate with our business partners to understand requirements - Investigate production development and design problems and propose optimized solutions - Participate in providing work estimation for project scope - Adhere to OhioMHAS best practices of architecture, design, implementation, and security standards Skills: o Serve as technical lead on projects regarding Salesforce application development. o Maintain the security & integrity of the Salesforce platform. o Research internal & external stakeholders to understand requirements. o Produce project estimates & communicate regularly with project managers to update progress. o Proactively & independently Salesforce release notes & prepare environment for upcoming releases. o Develop solutions within the Salesforce platform. o Create timelines & estimates for project work. o Troubleshoot & fix bugs. o Test applications prior to User Acceptance Testing & ensure requirements are met. o Meet with internal & external stakeholders to understand requirements. o Proactively & independently determine tasks for projects without guidance from manager or project manager. o Design & architect applications to meet business needs & work with Business Analysts to present solutions to stakeholders. o Monitor system performance & development mitigation solutions to address performance inefficiencies Who we are The mission of the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS) is to provide statewide leadership of a high-quality mental health and addiction prevention, treatment and recovery system that is effective and valued by all Ohioans.
