The ideal candidate will have a robust SAP background with 10-15 years of experience, including at least two projects in SAP S/4HANA and 2-3 full-cycle implementations. This role focuses on ERP conversions, enhancements, and "keep the lights on" activities, with an emphasis on production planning (PP) within the S/4HANA environment. Project: This resource will be joining the team to assist with a project to bring the manufacturing sites to the same version of SAP. Key Responsibilities: Project: Draft functional specifications. Gather requirements from business users. Conduct workshops and discussions. Convert business problems into technical solutions. Implementation and Integration: Lead one plant from a PP perspective. Ensure smooth integration with EWM, OpenText, and other systems. Support ERP conversion from legacy software (KPM) to S/4HANA. Collaboration and Communication: Work with cross-functional teams Communicate complex problems effectively to different audience types, including technical audiences. Coordinate with technical support personnel at each plant. Configuration and Customization: Handle system configurations and customizations. Provide technical guidance on best practices. Required Skills and Experience: Strong SAP background with 10-15 years of experience. Experience with at least 2 projects in SAP S/4HANA. 2-3 full-cycle SAP implementations. Strong knowledge of SAP production planning (PP). Experience with discrete and repetitive manufacturing, preferably in an FDA-regulated environment. Configuration and customization expertise in SAP PP. Excellent communication skills. Ability to travel to Mexico 2-3 times a year for 2-3 week periods. Preferred Skills and Experience: Integration experience with EWM, OpenText, and other systems. Experience with ERP conversions. Technical and functional background in SAP. Experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA systems. Team and Environment: The clients environment is complex, with multi-plant operations and several ongoing developments. The selected candidate will lead one plant from a PP perspective. Each plant has dedicated functional and technical support personnel. The role requires a go-getter personality and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
