Business Systems Analyst Local candidates or near by Golden valley, MN Locals or near by Hybrid Only USC GC GCEAD H4EAD Must have strong Insurance domain Responsibilities: Perform analysis and develop requirements (user stories) for enhancements and new products on complex Annuity and Life insurance systems. Strong Firelight/Hexure Configuration Act as a subject matter expert, integrating complex product designs and business rules into solutions. Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly in cross-functional settings, and effectively discuss technical topics with non-technical audiences. Determine business systems approach and requirements needed for regulatory compliance in collaboration with other areas. Work alongside Product Owners to ensure developers can build enhancements and new products as intended. Generate recommendations to resolve known areas for improvement or to leverage emerging opportunities. Actively participate in the Agile process, advancing the efficiency and agility of teams. Advocate for positive change within teams, motivating others to overcome barriers and generate creative and elegant solutions to difficult problems. Qualifications: 5+ years of relevant technical and business experience, in the Annuity and Life Insurance industry. Four-year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field; or specialized training/equivalent extensive work experience. Experience working in an Agile environment, with the ability to adapt to elements of waterfall projects. Preferred experience with DTCC, ACORD standards, Firelight, AN4, Affirm, or other insurance application order entry systems. Comprehensive technical skills in insurance product features and mechanics. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Visual Basic for Applications. Experience with Insurance Administration systems.
