Microsoft Office proficient; especially in Excel (pivot tables, etc.) Possess excellent communication skills both written and orally as they will be working with a variety of suppliers Essential Responsibilities Issue and Receive PO's - Oracle ERP System Constant review of PO needs dates to assure support on PO administration and retention of records Tracking of material to ensure delivery on a timely manner Work with vendors to avoid risk and future impact to production Review No Promise trends with team; work proactively to make sure suppliers continue to ship on time for future orders Logistics tracking track suppliers to verify flow of material; serve as early warning system for key shipments falling behind. Premium transportation support Process buyer workflow requests related to premium transportation request Proof of delivery/Trouble Ticket Work to ensure material has been received and delivered to the correct location(s). Establish and maintain part inventory lists Work to get parts shipped on as needed basis through MSO system Ability to work with manufacturing material leads to pull parts from inventory. Ability to read part drawings and work with engineering leads to request supplier quotes.
