From: Jaffar, ATVS [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role :: Vulnerability Management Analyst, Seattle, WA, 98141 Contract you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating vulnerabilities in our systems and networks You will work closely with various teams to enhance our security posture and protect our assets from potential threatsKey Responsibilities:Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and scans on systems, networks, and applicationsAnalyze scan results to identify vulnerabilities and potential risksAssist in the prioritization of vulnerabilities based on risk and impactWork with IT and development teams to remediate identified vulnerabilitiesTrack and report on the status of vulnerability remediation effortsStay current with the latest vulnerabilities, exploits, and security trendsParticipate in security assessments and audits as requiredQualifications:Associate degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degreeBasic understanding of common vulnerabilities and exposure (CVE) databases, Exploit Prediction Scoring System (EPSS), MITRE ATT&CK framework, OWASP Top 10, vulnerability scanning tools, and remediation techniquesFamiliarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and networking fundamentalsWorking knowledge of cloud environments (eg, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)Working knowledge of data aggregation platforms such as SplunkStrong analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentEagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challengesPreferred Qualifications:Having one or more certifications such as CompTIA Security, CompTIA CySA, GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN), GIAC Web Application Penetration Tester (GWAPT), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or similar is a plusWorking knowledge of vulnerability management tools (eg, Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7)Knowledge of scripting languages (eg, Python, Power) for automation purposes Keywords: information technology Washington Vulnerability Management Analyst :: Seattle, WA, 98141 :: Contract [email protected] |
