Position: SAP Project Manager ( PLM/MES Integration) Location: Remote Duration: Long Term Sr. Project Manager SAP Project Manager for ERP and PLM/MES Integration (Discrete, MTO, and ETO) Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled Project Manager with extensive experience in implementing and integrating Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) or Custom Built Engineering/Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Systems and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) with Cloud or on-Premise ERP Systems, preferably SAP Business One (B1). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Product Engineering, Product Lifecycle Management, Production Planning, and Manufacturing Execution, specifically in a discrete, engineer-to-order, and make-to-order manufacturing environment. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required. Required Top 3 skills: 1. Proven experience in managing the implementation and integration of PLM and MES with ERP systems, preferably SAP Business One (B1). 2. Strong background in discrete manufacturing, engineer-to-order, and make-to-order environments. 3. Experience in product engineering, lifecycle management, production planning, and manufacturing execution. Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Management 2. Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for the implementation and integration of PLM and MES with ERP systems. 3. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. 4. System Implementation and Integration 5. Lead the implementation of COTS or custom-built PLM and MES solutions. 6. Oversee the integration of these systems with Cloud or on-premise ERP systems, particularly SAP Business One (B1). 7. Product Engineering and Lifecycle Management:8. Ensure effective integration of product engineering and lifecycle management processes within the new systems. 9. Optimize product development and lifecycle management workflows. 10. Production Planning and Execution 11. Leverage experience in production planning and manufacturing execution to enhance operational efficiency. 12. Implement best practices in production scheduling, inventory management, and resource allocation. 13. Stakeholder Communication 14. Act as the primary liaison between project teams, stakeholders, and vendors. 15. Provide regular status updates and project reports to senior management. 16. Team Leadership: 17. Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, ensuring alignment and collaboration. 18. Facilitate effective communication and problem-solving among team members. 19. Risk Management: 20. Identify and assess project risks, developing and implementing mitigation strategies. 21. Monitor project progress and address issues promptly to keep the project on track. 22. Quality Assurance 23. Ensure that all project deliverables meet business requirements and quality standards. 24. Oversee testing and validation of integrated systems, ensuring they function correctly. Languages: Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required. Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is preferred.
