Role : IBM Middleware Developer Location: hybrid Houston, TX local Long term contract Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled IBM Middleware Developer to join our client's dynamic team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with IBM Application Connect Enterprise (ACE), IBM MQ, and IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM). This role involves designing, developing, and implementing middleware solutions to support the business operations and ensure the seamless integration of applications and services. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop integration solutions using IBM ACE, IBM MQ, and IBM ODM. Collaborate with business analysts, system architects, and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Implement and maintain middleware configurations, message flows, and service orchestrations. Develop and execute test plans to ensure the reliability and performance of integration solutions. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to middleware components and integrations. Optimize middleware solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability. Document technical designs, configurations, and operational procedures. Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers and team members. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in middleware technologies. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Strong experience with IBM ACE, IBM MQ, and IBM ODM. Proficiency in designing and developing integration solutions. Strong knowledge of middleware architecture, patterns, and best practices. Experience with SOA, RESTful services, and message-oriented middleware. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with other IBM middleware products and tools. Familiarity with cloud platforms and services. Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools. Certification in IBM middleware technologies.
