PMP Should have post 7 Years Position Overview Key Responsibilities Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, cost estimates, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Project Execution: Coordinate internal and external resources, manage project teams, and ensure project milestones and deliverables are met according to the project plan. Stakeholder Management: Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational goals. Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes to ensure project outputs meet required standards and stakeholder expectations. Project Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of all project activities, decisions, and changes. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize potential negative impacts. Qualifications and Skills Education: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the IT sector. Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is required. Virginia Information Technology Agency (VITA) PM certification is a plus. Skills: o Strong leadership and organizational skills. o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. o Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum). o Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure. Contract Terms This is an onsite position. Client is located at 9711 Farra Court, Chesterfield, Virginia.
