Job Description of Role* (RNR) (Mandatory - Minimum 500 words) Power BI Developer About the Role: We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer with experience in migrating from Tableau to Power BI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing business intelligence solutions, ensuring a smooth transition from Tableau to Power BI, and providing actionable insights through data visualization. Key Responsibilities: Migration Execution: Lead the migration process from Tableau to Power BI, including data source connections, visualization migration, and testing. Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI. Data Integration: Establish and manage data connections, ensuring data integrity and consistency across various sources. Performance Optimization: Optimize Power BI solutions for performance, scalability, and usability. Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements. Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of Power BI. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the migration process, architecture, and best practices. Primary (Must have skills)* Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling. Experience with Tableau and its migration to Power BI. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive meaningful insights. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Expierence Range Minimum of 3 years of experience in business intelligence and data analytics, with at least 1 year of experience in migrating from Tableau to Power BI. Secondary Skills (Good To have)* Experience with other data visualization tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R). Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and big data technologies. Familiarity with data governance and security best practices. Relevant certifications in Power BI or other BI tools are a plus. Soft skills/other skills (If any) Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive meaningful insights. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
