Job Title : Lead Sitecore Developer L ocation: 100% Remote Duration: 6 + months Contract JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities: Solution Story Design: Participate in the design and architecture of Sitecore-based stories that meet client requirements and business goals. Sprint Development: Hands-on development of Sitecore-based websites, web applications, and modules as dictated by the development story. Customization: Customize and extend Sitecore functionalities through custom code and integration with other systems. Integration: Integrate Sitecore with third-party applications, databases, and APIs. Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks in Sitecore solutions as needed. Quality Assurance: Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and formal QA testing process. Documentation: Create technical documentation such as architecture diagrams, deployment procedures, and technical specifications as needed. Team Leadership: Mentor junior developer, provide technical guidance, and lead code reviews as needed. Product Owner Interaction: Collaborate with product owner or expert business analyst to understand requirements, present solutions, and provide technical guidance. Requirements: Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of Sitecore CMS including but not limited to Sitecore XP, Sitecore JSS, Sitecore Commerce, and Sitecore Helix principles. Programming Languages: Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related web technologies. Database Skills: Experience with SQL Server, including database design and optimization. Integration Experience: Familiarity with integrating Sitecore with CRM systems, Marketing Automation platforms, and other third-party applications. Version Control: Proficiency with Git or similar version control systems. Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Masters degree is a plus. Sitecore Certification(s) such as Sitecore Certified Developer (SCD) or equivalent is a plus. Minimum of 6 years of experience in developing Sitecore-based solutions, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
