Role: Project Manager Location: San Ramon, California (With Occasional Travel) Duration: 12 months Job Duties Include but are not limited to the following: Strategic planning: Developing and overseeing long-term project strategies aligned with organizational goals. Project portfolio management: Managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing resources across them. Stakeholder management: Communicating with and managing expectations of high-level stakeholders, including executives and clients. Risk management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across the project effectively to reduce the capability for the risk to be realized. Resource allocation: Optimizing the use of human, financial, and material resources across assigned projects as well as cross impacting projects. Quality assurance: Ensuring projects meet or exceed quality standards and deliver expected outcomes as define by the IT PMO. Financial oversight: Managing budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting for large-scale projects or programs. Cross-functional collaboration: Working with various departments and other project managers to ensure project alignment and success. Performance monitoring: Tracking and reporting on key performance indicators (KPls) for projects and teams. Required Technology Knowledge Proven experience in project management, preferably in IT or software development In-depth understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Familiarity with cloud migration tools and methodologies Knowledge of cloud architecture, security, and networking concepts Understanding of containerization and serverless technologies Experience with Agile and Iterative project management methodologies In depth knowledge of SharePoint and migrating it from hosted datacenter to cloud solution -- Keywords: information technology Project Manager Location: San Ramon, California (With Occasional Travel) [email protected] |
