Title: Disaster Recovery Engineer Location: Hybrid to Downtown Chicago (3 days a week onsite) Duration: 6+ Months MOI: Virtual Responsibilities: Independently implement end-to-end technical solutions, working autonomously while providing regular updates to stakeholders. Analyze complex functional and business requirements, preparing and delivering solutions. Collaborate with architects from various technical teams. Integrate technical expertise with business understanding to create superior solutions for the Resiliency Team. Evaluate and oversee resiliency strategy across development and engineering teams. Drive the automation effort for disaster recovery (DR) applications and business capabilities. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams during strategic planning, solution reviews, and communication of strategy direction. Maintain an effective technical network across technical subject matter experts (SMEs) and architects. Qualifications: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience as a Technical Architect, Systems Administrator, or Systems Engineer at an enterprise scale. 3+ years in a team lead role, successfully delivering projects to completion. Strong technical problem-solving skills. Practical experience in both technology infrastructure and application development architectures. Proficiency in infrastructure and service architecture & engineering, including requirements gathering and solution development. Solid system analysis and service development experience. 4+ years of disaster recovery (DR) experience. Automation expertise.
