Role Description: Progress Open Edge DBA with a minimum of 10Yrs (Level3) on Versions 11x and 12x Below is a list of skills that are representative of the level of talent were looking for: Working experience with Progress Database Open Edge 11.x and 12.x, Open Edge App Server(desired), PASOE Database performance monitoring and optimization tuning (mandatory) Experience with database security, encryption. (mandatory) Previous experience with migrating Open Edge Progress Database from 11.x to 12.x. (mandatory) Experience analyzing business requirements, generate DB schema recommendations(DBA perspective), create detailed technical designs (mandatory) Database Performance tuning experience to reduce DB processing times.
