The Technical Writer must be able to discuss, understand and document complex technical information including database design, data management, systems integration, application development and technology architecture. The Technical Writer is responsible for maintaining the consistency of technical content across departments, including application development, quality assurance, user testing, cyber security, business operations, sales, marketing, etc.. Essential Functions: Write or revise technical documents for applications, systems integrations, and databases Work closely with technical staff to understand the purpose and technical architecture of multiple systems Maintain a strong knowledge of technical products and environments Edit and enhance material prepared by technical architecture and development staff Create or incorporate visual references (graphs, charts, flows, etc.) to increase document accuracy and usability Elicit feedback to update and improve existing content Builds industry knowledge and develops understanding of business divisions organization and objectives. Maintains an understanding of technical assets and strategic direction.
