Business Data Analyst Contract C2C/w2/1099 Only USC GC GCEAD Local to NYC and NJ Drive delivery of key initiatives through disciplined and effective business analysis, data analysis, and change management Requirements analysis responsibilities include requirements gathering and documentation, process analysis and documentation (process flow diagrams), development of user stories and business requirements documents (BRDs), mock-ups of screens Data analysis responsibilities include business / financial analysis, reconciliations and monitoring as well as establishment of data processes and controls that promote data integrity Support various change management tasks including development of user documents, drafting of change communication memos, and user training Provide day-to-day support of business technologies to business users Perform ad hoc analysis based on managements request Analyze and identify opportunities for business process improvement and technology efficiencies MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree 2-5 years experience performing the kinds of business / data analysis and quality assurance work described above Strong analytical and quantitative skills Strong knowledge of advanced Excel, SQL / VBA a plus Superior oral & written communication skills Ability to plan, organize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, with limited supervision Strong drive, initiative, and motivation to excel; accuracy and attention to details in work product Experience supporting the implementation of technology systems or change management initiatives Enthusiasm for working in a diverse, multi-cultural environment A FEW PARTICULARS: Must be available to work full-time on-site in the Manhattan office. Open office floorplan promotes a collaborative team environment.
